The AEolian-Skinner is now in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Altus, Oklahoma, in a greatly enlarged condition. New pipes were made for it by Thomas Anderson (former AEolian-Skinner pipe maker) and the new pipes and all the old were voiced by John Hendriksen (former AEolian-Skinner head voicer). The old AEolian-Skinner chests were retained in the new installation in Altus, with added chests built by Cotner - Pipe Organs. The original 3 manual console was rebuilt using Musicom technology, and a 4th manual was added to it. It now consists of 50 ranks of pipes, with some digital extensions to the pedal. In its new installation (Altus) the organ was placed in the front, center of the church, behind the reredos, cantilevered out over the altar, with exposed 16' violone and 8' basses to the great and pedal principals. The great and positiv chests were installed immediately behind the facade, with the swell immediately behind those divisions. The swell chests are each chromatic, with the low pipes in the middle, making a two-chest long "M" configuration, with the choir box above. The trompette-en-chamade, which was over the rear door in Oklahoma City has been replanted on two vertical chests at either end of the facade. The console is the original A-S drawknob console, with additions. The pneumatic system was removed from the console and replaced with Harris drawknobs, controlled by a Musicom system. Pistons were doubled in number. It is now moveable (on rollers) and can be placed anywhere in the choir. Also included was a closed circuit tv screen on the back rail which allows organist to see processions, etc.
