Branford, Connecticut First COngregational Renovations/changes to 1969 Flentrop organ (Update from Mark Brombaugh, 2004 renovation work included: Stop & combination action: Original Heuss electric slider motors replaced by Laukhuff solenoids. Original setter board combination action replaced by Laukhuff digital system with 200 memory levels. Original Kimber-Allen drawknobs replaced by Harris drawknobs. New piston rails and toe stud rail with full complement of pistons. (Richard Houghton did this work.) Entire pipework cleaned Façade pipes repaired All plenum stops revoiced; HW & PD wind pressures lowered from ca. 87mm to 75 mm. RW pressure unchanged Reed stops rebuilt and revoiced: HW Trompet 8 RW Dulciaan 16 PD Bazuin 16 & Trompet 8 New HW Vox Humana 8 in 18th-century Dutch style replacing Trompet 4 HW Trompet 4 moved to PD, replacing original Clairon 4 New Viola 8 from tc, replacing original Voce Umana 8 New Klann cymbelstern Project manager and reed voicer: Frits Elshout Flue voicing: Frits Elshout and Dick Koomans Consultant: Mark Brombaugh Rededicated 10-17-2004: Director of Music, the Rev.
