NOTES

The organ was actually built by William H. Longmore when he lived in Cleveland, 
OH and was working for the Holtkamp Organ Co. When he moved to Lakeland, FL to 
work for Klug & Schumacher, he brought the organ along. It was subsequently sold 
to Jason Lee United Methodist and installed there by Klug & Schumacher.

Free-standing and encased on the chancel platform. The Pedal 8’ Flute is en 
facade with bass CC, CC#, and DD on the left, and Tenor C# - F# on the right. The 
Manual 1’ Octave breaks back to 2’ pitch at c# 49 for the top 12 notes.

Organ documented August 7, 1990 by James R. Stettner

The 1’ Octave has subsequently been transposed to 1-1/3’ pitch with a compass of 
middle c to top c.

Status: The sanctuary's basic instrument, used every week. Active and functional 
1998.
