Findlay, Ohio First Methodist Church Organ by Henry Pilcher's Sons, 1902 NOTES One of the notes in the current description states that this instrument was "rebuilt 1983 with tracker action for Trinity, Iowa City by George Bozeman." This does not appear to be true. The instrument that was rebuilt by Bozeman for Trinity, Iowa City was Henry Pilcher's Sons Op. 748. See the OHS Organ Handbook 1986, pp. 44-45, for a description of how this confusion arose; both instruments were residing in Findlay, Ohio. George Bozeman's contract for the instrument at Trinity, Iowa City (which I have in hand) lists the original as Henry Pilcher's Sons Op. 423, 1902. I am confident that he was mistaken in this, and later realized it. The current nameplate, made by Bozeman when the instrument was installed at Trinity, Iowa City, correctly lists the original as Henry Pilcher's Sons, Op. 748. [Received on line March 26, 2009.]
