This organ was originally built for Notre Dame Catholic Church in Central Falls, Rhode Island. It was relocated through the Organ Clearing House and restored by the Bond firm. The instrument remains mechanically unaltered, however tonal changes were made. The Great III Mixture is an entirely new addition. The Swell 2' Piccolo has been made from the original 4' Violina. St. Luke's had originally contracted with Bond to rebuild a II-manual Geo. Jardine & Son organ. At the same time, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Corvallis, Oregon had contracted with the Bond firm to restore the W.K. Adams' Sons organ. Mr. Bond realized that the W.K. Adams' Sons organ was better suited to St. Luke's needs, and at his recommendation, the parishes swapped instruments prior to restoration work. The facade pipes of the W.K. Adams' Sons organ were repainted and stencilled by Dean Applegate. Members of the parish refinished the poplar casework. Sources: Notes from the Bond firm; extant organ [Received from James R.
