Broadway United Methodist Maryville, Tennessee 1958, Wicks Organ Co., Opus 3905 1994, Barger & Nix Organs - Rebuild & Enlargement of 1958 Wicks organ NOTES This was the substantial rebuilding and enlarging of the church's existing 1958 Wicks, opus 3905. It remained in its original two expressive chambers on either side of the chancel with the Great on the left, and the Swell on the right. The Pedal Bourdon is in the Great chamber. The Great 2' Super Octave is part of the IV Mixture and is automatically included when the IV Mixture is registered. The Swell Geigen Principal was unified to 8-4-2 in the rebuild. The 2-2/3' Nazard is from the 4' Koppel Flute and plays for 54 notes. Similarly, the 1-3/5' Tierce is from the 2' Piccolo and plays for 57 notes before the top 4 notes repeat. The Pedal 16' Principal is tenor C from the Great 8' Principal. The original 16' Bourdon of 32 pipes was expanded to 56 pipes playing at 16, 10-2/3, 8, 5-1/3, & 4. The II Rausch Quint is pitched at 12-15 and is taken entirely from the Geigen Principal unit. The 32' Trompette Cornet is Cornet for notes 1-12. Notes 13-24 are missing, and then 25-32 are from the 8' Trompette. The 16' Contre Trompette is tenor C. Documented July 30, 2007 by James R. Stettner.
