It was apparently rebuilt at the time of its installation in the Mission, and the case modified, as several painted pipes can be seen on offset chests behind the present case. The organ is no longer [1956] used regularly downstairs (!) and is deteriorating. The pipes are covered with a film of grease from the kitchen directly downstairs. [sic]
