Notes
The church's previous building was located in SW Portland at
the corner of 4th & Mill. The previous pipe organ was a II-manual tracker-action
instrument built ca. 1911 by the Hinner Organ Co. of Pekin, IL. It
is believed to have had 12-stops, 12-ranks, and +/- 674 pipes.
The ultimate disposition of the instrument is unknown.
The present structure is the congregation's third building, and was built
in 1954. The organ was built and installed in 1961 at an approximate
cost of $31,000.00. It is installed in three side-by-side chambers
across the front of the room directly behind the elevated front Choir gallery.
